Jakub LepsJakub Leps has been EIN News' editorial director since 2000, managing a team of experienced staff editors with expertise in international politics, business, health, music industry and many other areas. He holds a BA in Economics and a Master's Degree in American Studies from Charles University, Prague, as well as a Master's Degree in Political Science from Central European University, Budapest. Having been granted a Fulbright research scholarship, he spent one year at Georgia Tech's Sam Nunn School of International Affairs. He has taught an MA course on China in American Foreign Policy at Charles University and has published articles on Sino-American and Sino-Russian relations.


Joe RothsteinJoe Rothstein is editor of U.S. Politics Today and EIN News' chief columnist. His career in politics spans 35 years, as a strategist and media producer in more than 200 campaigns for political office and for many political causes. He was one of the pioneers in professional political consulting and one of the founding members of the American Association of Political Consultants. He also is adjunct professor of political science at George Washington University's graduate school for political management and a member of both the International Association of Political Consultants and the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. where he lives. Mr. Rothstein has a master's degree in journalism from UCLA, and served for five years as editor of the Pulitzer Prize winning Anchorage Daily News. He also served as chief of staff for the governor of Alaska and later for an Alaska U.S. senator.
